JACK – Bildungsstätte für geflüchtete und schutzbedürftige Frauen
What: JACK-Berlin is Berlin-based education center for female refugees and women in need of shelter. They offer a diverse course program to interested women who are denied other access to education. Their goal is to strengthen the women’s autonomy and social participation.
How: From October 2020, hildashaus has started a long-term collaboration with JACK-Berlin. The collaboration focuses on 2 solid and important pillars that are interrelated and essential for economic empowerment: “Physical and Psychological empowerment” & “Educational empowerment”.
Days for Girls
What: Days For Girls International International is NGO that works to shatter stigma and limitations associated with menstruation for improved health, education and livelihoods by producting and distributing rusable and washable menstrual pads.
How: In 2019, Federica founded the Berlin chapter of Days for Girls and organized the distribution of menstrual kits in Nepal.
Rise Foundation
What: Rise Foundation e.V. works to improve the lives of people affected by homelessness and poverty through direct contact and commitment. They distribute homemade meals, sanitary packages with socks, underwear, tampons, toothbrushes, toothpaste and other items for the basic needs to those in need.
How: In 2020 and 2021, we provided 100+ menstrual kits (each kits included menstrual products + wet wipes)
