Our Team

We are driven by a recognition of gender disparities and lack of access to unbiased crucial resources.

Federica Cecalupo (she/her), Founder & Executive Director

Federica believes in a society in which FINTA* individuals have full power and control of their lives to become anything they want. She believes in a world in which FINTA* can fully express themselves and their potential regardless of their origin.

In 2019, she listened to her inner voice urging her to use her skills, experience and heart and stand for equality. She began her new journey by founding the Berlin Team of Days for Girls and starting to focus her efforts on increasing Menstrual Awareness. This led her to spend 4 months in Nepal where she worked on the completion of the first DfG Campaign and offered her professionalism to a local organization, Apeiron.

Once back in Berlin, it was time to start working on the creation of Hildashaus e.V. and strongly committing to gender equality and human rights.

Parvin Shafaq (she/her),

Project Manager - “Khaale Ha” Project

Parvin’s journey began while working as an assistant and civic educator for the United Nations in Afghanistan, where she educated villagers about civil rights.

In 2014, she founded a clothing company, Green Women, based in Kabul, Afghanistan. The idea behind it was to create jobs for women who were not allowed to work. This way, women who joined could take care of their children according to family rules while simultaneously earning money for their needs.

After moving to Germany, she enrolled at a university and, alongside her current job, is now studying Social Work at Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences in Berlin.

Her experiences have not only shaped her own character but have also fueled her desire to empower others and advocate for those who have been marginalized and this is how she met Hildashaus.
