Noor Amal is a 10-month holistic program weaving wellbeing, culture, care, and creative livelihoods for Arabic-speaking women aged 40+ with no or up to A1 German level.
It offers a warm, collaborative space to breathe, learn, and grow together through textile arts. Sessions are held mainly in Arabic, with simple German when helpful, and free childcare for mothers with children aged 2–5.
Five parallel modules guide participants through a holistic rhythm, culminating in a collective celebration of culture and community in August 2026.
Currently in its prototype phase, Noor Amal is testing an innovative model through textile arts. Our long-term vision is to scale it into an intersectional feminist socio-cultural space for FLINTA* individuals with migration backgrounds aged 40+, especially those from hard-to-reach groups. By centering intersectional feminist values, Noor Amal will demonstrate that sustainable livelihoods can emerge from a participatory, culturally sensitive, holistic approach that bridges languages, lowers entry barriers, and nurtures creativity, wellbeing, community, and environmentally conscious practices.
