At Hildashaus, we believe that everyone who menstruates deserves dignity. Period equity is a basic human need—yet it remains deeply overlooked & stigmatised in our society.

We also recognize a significant gap in support for people experiencing menopause. For us, a dignified menopause is not a privilege—it is a human right.

Since 2020, we have been actively addressing these gaps and advocating for bodily autonomy and health at every stage of life. Through our partnership with JACK-Berlin, we distributed over 90 menstrual and bladder care products every month to displaced FLINTA* individuals in their community. Our projects have reached people affected by homelessness in Berlin and communities in Lebanon, ensuring access to essential care where it is most needed.

Our initiatives also extend to public engagement and awareness: with events like FLOWFest, we create spaces to openly discuss menstrual stigma, promote period inclusivity, and celebrate empowerment.

Every action, from product distribution to advocacy and community gatherings, reflects our commitment to dismantling taboos, supporting health and dignity, and fostering a world where menstruation and menopause are met with care, respect, and inclusivity.
